I have recently purchased some Blue Spodomene. One is silvery with a hint of blue. The other looks more like an Aquamarine. Is it possible that these gems are natural, untreated, and untreated? Can someone create a Blue Spodomene by heating or otherwise manipulating colorless Spodomene (Kunzite)?
I don’t sure the irradiated blue spodumene. But I know some green spodumene, someoe call hiddennite, are irradiated. So the color will not stable. If you put under sunlight for a while, the color will gone and never come again. But I think if green color can be made, why blue can not?
