Just want to know that is it compulsory that hessonite garnet should be worn on Saturday only and in middle finger? Please make my doubt clear as someone has told me that we can wear hessonite garnet on Monday and in ring finger.

I am sure that hessonite garnet should be worn on Saturday and in middle finger but if your astrologer after looking at your horoscope has told you to wear if on Monday and in ring finger then go for it. Otherwise, always wear hessonite garnet in middle finger and preferably on Saturday.

I am not sure whether one can wear opal and gomed together as there is almost no information on opal in astrology. People wear opal in index finger and sometimes in little finger as well. I am sorry as I cannot tell you much on this.

Gomed and Diamond can be worn together. However, gomed should be worn in middle finger while diamond in ring finger of right hand in case of male or left hand in case of female.
October 24, 2011 at 8:25 am #5241AnonymousGuestI have a Garnet ring. Is it also called as Pyrobi?
October 28, 2011 at 4:22 am #5242HimanshuParticipant@Anand Reddy,
There is a variety of garnet called Pyrope Garnet which is intense red in color and sometimes orangish-red and violet-red in color as well. Go to pyrope garnet page to get more info.
I hope this is what you meant by Pyrobi.

December 30, 2011 at 3:13 am #5244deep_blueParticipantRed Coral and Hessonite Garnet should not be worn at the same time. Please check the list of anti gemstones to find more information.

December 14, 2012 at 10:04 am #5245AnonymousGuestMy astrologer recommended me to wear 3 carat gomed in silver ring and told me to wear it in right hand’s little finger on Wednesday. Is it ok to wear it in little finger because lot of people are telling me to wear it in middle finger. Please suggest.

Hessonite (Gomed), the gem for Rahu should be worn on the middle finger. The middle finger has been allocated to Shani (Saturn) and as vedic astrology states Rahu Vat Shani, Rhu can be worn on that finger.
Also, women should wear astrological gems on the left hand.
Wishing you good luck and may God bless you, and above all?
Cheers

Prima facie you seem to be right, very right. But let me ask you a question, why do we wear the wedding ring on a particular finger only?
Likewise, it has been found that different fingers respond more positively to some gems and others do not. Therefore it is important to wear appropriate gem stones on the respective finger.
Wishing you good luck, may God bless you and above all?????
Cheers
