Is there any gemstone which is more expensive than diamond?

I think ruby is the most costliest of the gemstone.

I disagree. If we are talking about clean, faceted gems, I vote for GRANDIDIERITE (one known specimen), MUSGRAVITE (8 known speciments), or SERENDIBITE (3 known speciments).

I agree that Ruby is probably the most expensive consumer gem.

I think Alexandrite is the most expensive gem in the world. Others can be Tanzanite and Paraiba Tourmaline.
