Always follow your astrologer.
Secondly, actually grnet/hessonite should be worn on 1. saturday, 2. during the nakshatra of Rahu falling on Saturday 3. After sunset 4. In Rahu’s Hora (all these four combintions) should be met, but usually it is difficult to get the combination, also it takes time by the astrologer to get such a combination for you and as the astrologer is usually not paid enough to match his knowledge and the effort they the asrologers devised an easier way out by suggesting Saturday.
Wishing you good luck, may God bless you and above all?????

You have worn the gems on the proper fingers, no issues. If Ketu too could have been worn on the right hand, it would have been much better, but let me assure you no harm has been done by wearing it on the left hand.

Pearl is the gem for Moon and it should be worn on the little finger. This is the first choice. Secondly as it is friend of Guru/Jupiter it can be worn on the index finger and as it is friend of Sun, it can be worn on the third finger too.
Emerald (Budha/Mercury), people sugges wearing on the little finger, but I do not, s Mercury and Moon are enemies. Emerald can be worn on the Sun’s finger, next to the little finger or the middle (longest) finger. Never on the index finger (Jupiter) finger.

Prima facie you seem to be right, very right. But let me ask you a question, why do we wear the wedding ring on a particular finger only?
Likewise, it has been found that different fingers respond more positively to some gems and others do not. Therefore it is important to wear appropriate gem stones on the respective finger.

Gem stones as per crystal therapy will work surely work on relieving the pain. Astrology may not directly help you in this matter. Kindly place this question in the newbie and gemstones sections, our expert gemologist Himanshu shall definitely help you in this.
You also need a lot of exercises for this problem, stretching and all, kindly visit a physiotherapist too, cause the structure of your spine especially the joints near the end have popped. Use this as a primary remedy and gems as a secondary supportive remedy, lastly you may then go for an astrological gem.

RikhavParticipantI have worked at GaneshaSpeaks for 6+ years as a Senior Astrologer and know most people in the team. The advise you get from there will not be wrong generally; unless, you and your astrologers stars are not right at the time.
As far as expiry is considered, there is no such thing. The thing is, if the gem is used for long; it will absorb negative energies from the wearer and the surroundings. This is why after every 4 years you need to cleanse the gemstone and revitalize it.
Wishing you good luck, may God bless you!

RikhavParticipant@ Bajrang,
You are born in Gemini – Mithuna Ascendant; so you should wear Emerald set in gold. Keep 4.25 carats (or ratti) as the weight. Don’t wear the gemstone on the little finger; wear it on the ring finger of right hand.
Diamond (Venus) the lord of your fifth house of Purva Punya can also be worn, along-with Emerald on the same ring finger. Suggested weight 4.25 cents.
Blue Sapphire (Saturn) as the lord of your ninth house of Bhagya and good luck. You can wear this on the second finger, set in steel. Weight 4.25 carat or ratti.

February 21, 2014 at 5:46 am in reply to: Can high/low blood pressure be controlled by wearing gemstones? #5380RikhavParticipant@ Amit Tamboli,
Gem stones definitely help in reducing blood pressure and stabilizing it. But the effects depend on the quality and size of the gemstone. Also, the effects will be influenced by your life-style, medication and other gem stones that you wear.
Please don’t assume that gemstone is the complete remedy for your problem; but it can definately help you a lot.

RikhavParticipant@ Sandeep Sharma,
Natural gemstones are a part of nature and are formed due to concentration and crystalization of particular chemicals and minerals (under the earth cover) over many years.
Human body again is a part of nature. Any disease caused in the human body is an imbalance of chemicals and minerals.
Wearing appropriate gems (of recomended sizes) can help in recovering and fully healing oneself. In certain cases, gems are either burnt and their ashes are consumed (in very small proportions) to heal faster. But such therapy has to be obviously performed under an advise of a specialist.

February 20, 2014 at 11:31 am in reply to: Do Gemstones have an effect on someone’s Asthmatic condition? #5377RikhavParticipant@ Akash Iyer,
Gemstones provide an effective cure for almost all diseases. But they may not be very effective in problems which require quick attention (so, medicine has to be taken where necessary). Wearing a gem can assist you in recovering faster and getting healed faster (or create healing conditions acceptable by you).

RikhavParticipant@ashwint,
I advise you to not to wear gemstones based on moon sign or sun sign, this may not work well. In fact, it may harm you. The harm could not be evident, but it may be in the form of lost opportunities.
As an astrologer, I would advise wearing gems based on your ascendant after deciphering the rulership and strength of the planets in your horoscope.

RikhavParticipant@ harry_sandha,
Synthetic gemstones are man-made, they have been made to look like natural ones. When light passes through these gemstones, they will not carry natural properties to the body and will not blend with it. Thus, synthetic gems do not have astrological powers.

Hessonite (Gomed), the gem for Rahu should be worn on the middle finger. The middle finger has been allocated to Shani (Saturn) and as vedic astrology states Rahu Vat Shani, Rhu can be worn on that finger.
Also, women should wear astrological gems on the left hand.

RikhavParticipant@ Syah,
Astrologically, blue turquoise stands for Saturn/Shani.
It is not advised to wear blue turquoise with any other stone.
Citrine and Carnelian gel with each other.
Although, you should note that these stones are not considered to be of much importance in Indian Astrology. Therefore, you can wear them as cheaper alternatives to the costly gemstones and expect a bit differed and delayed result with some hindrances. It is always advisable to only wear the gemstone which you need to.
